What you need to know

At Moraldos Heating and Cooling, we are committed to ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish, with a primary focus on delivering exceptional service to our valued customers. Before booking a boiler or air conditioning installation, we kindly ask that you review the information below carefully.

  1. When placing an order for a new boiler installation or air conditioning through our website, we kindly request that you provide a few pictures of your current setup. These images should be sent to us via email or text. This will allow us to confirm that your installation is compatible, based on the information provided in the questionnaire. Failure to submit the required pictures by the day before the scheduled installation may impact the installation process.
  2. All boiler and air conditioning warranties are contingent upon annual servicing by a qualified Gas Safe engineer or an F-Gas certified engineer. Failure to comply with this requirement may void the warranty.
  3. If you have selected a combination boiler and currently have a gravity-fed system, please be aware that there may be instances where your existing pipework is not compatible. In most cases, the current pipework is sufficient, and no additional modifications are needed. However, there is a possibility that leaks may occur in the older pipework as the system transitions from gravity-fed to a pressurized system.
    As a company, we will not be held liable for any leaks in the existing pipework resulting from the increase in pressure.
  4. Upon completion, our engineers will provide a detailed handover, demonstrating the operation of the new boiler. We will ensure that the customer is fully satisfied with the installation. A waiver form will be signed and dated, effective from the completion date.

These terms and conditions govern the purchase and installation of boilers from Moraldos Heating and Cooling ("we," "us," "our"). By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your purchase.

1. Eligibility

1.1. By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and a resident of the United Kingdom.
1.2. You must be the legal owner or authorized representative of the property where the boiler will be installed.
1.3. The property must meet the necessary requirements for installation, which will be assessed during the order process or site survey.

2. Placing an Order

2.1. Orders for boilers and installation services can be placed through our website.
2.2. To ensure compatibility and to provide you with the most accurate pricing, we may require information about your current heating system, property details, and specific preferences.
2.3. We reserve the right to reject any order that cannot be fulfilled due to technical or operational limitations, including issues discovered during a site survey.
2.4. All orders are subject to confirmation and availability of the boiler and installation services.

3. Pricing and Payment

3.1. Prices for boilers and installation services are clearly displayed on our website and are subject to change without prior notice.
3.2. The total price for your order will be confirmed during the checkout process, which includes the cost of the boiler and installation, as well as any additional charges for optional products, services, or upgrades.
3.3. Payment must be made in full before the installation can be scheduled unless alternative financing options (such as 0% finance) have been selected and approved.
3.4. Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards, bank transfer, or other methods as specified on the website.

4. Installation

4.1. Once payment has been processed, we will schedule the installation of your boiler. The installation date will be confirmed via email or phone.
4.2. The installation will be carried out by a qualified Gas Safe engineer (for boilers) or F-Gas engineer (for air conditioning), in compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory standards.
4.3. You must ensure that the installation site is accessible and ready for installation on the scheduled date. If additional work is required to make the installation possible, this may incur additional charges.
4.4. Any necessary permits, consents, or approvals for installation must be obtained by the customer prior to the scheduled installation date.

5. Site Survey

5.1. In some cases, a site survey may be required to assess your existing heating system, determine the suitability of the installation, and provide you with a final quotation.
5.2. A survey is mandatory if we are replacing an existing boiler or installing a new system in a location not previously used for heating.
5.3. The survey will be carried out by a qualified professional, and any recommendations or changes to the original quotation will be communicated to you.

6. Warranty and Guarantees

6.1. All boilers supplied come with a manufacturer’s warranty, which typically covers parts and labour for a specified period. Warranty details will be provided at the time of purchase.
6.2. Warranty is subject to the boiler being regularly serviced by a qualified engineer, as outlined by the manufacturer. Failure to adhere to this requirement may void the warranty.
6.3. Any additional warranties or guarantees offered by Moraldos Heating and Cooling will be detailed at the time of purchase.

7. Cancellations and Returns

7.1. You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days from the date of purchase, provided that the installation has not been completed.
7.2. To cancel an order, you must notify us in writing via email or post, including your order details.
7.3. If installation has already taken place, cancellation is not possible. However, any issues with the installation or the product should be reported promptly, and we will work to resolve them in accordance with our warranty policy.
7.4. Refunds for cancelled orders (when applicable) will be processed within 14 days, minus any costs incurred by Moraldos Heating and Cooling in relation to the cancellation.

8. Liability and Limitation

8.1. Moraldos Heating and Cooling is not responsible for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the installation or use of the boiler.
8.2. We will not be liable for any delays or failures in installation due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including weather conditions, supply chain issues, or unforeseen site conditions.
8.3. Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the installation service and the boiler.

9. Customer Responsibilities

9.1. You are responsible for ensuring that the installation site meets the necessary conditions for the safe installation of the boiler, including access to utilities (gas, electricity, water) and proper ventilation.
9.2. If you have selected a finance option, you are responsible for ensuring that you meet the repayment terms as outlined in your finance agreement.
9.3. You must inform us of any changes to your contact details or property circumstances that may affect the installation.

10. Amendments to Terms

10.1. Moraldos Heating and Cooling reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you prior to confirming an order.
10.2. Continued use of our website or services after changes to these terms constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

11.1. These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
11.2. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.

3.4. Early repayment of the finance agreement is allowed, subject to the terms and conditions of the finance provider.

4. Deposits and Fees

4.1. A minimum deposit may be required, depending on the finance plan chosen.
4.2. Any additional fees, including late payment fees or charges for missed payments, will be outlined in the finance agreement.
4.3. Moraldos Heating and Cooling is not responsible for any fees imposed by the finance provider.

5. Delivery and Installation

5.1. Installation or delivery of the product or service will be scheduled once your finance agreement has been approved and the required deposit, if applicable, has been received.
5.2. Any changes to the installation schedule must be communicated promptly to avoid delays.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

6.1. If you wish to cancel your finance agreement or purchase, you must contact us in writing within 14 days of the agreement being signed, subject to the cancellation terms of the finance provider.
6.2. If the finance agreement is cancelled, any deposits paid may be refunded, subject to the terms of the finance provider and the status of the installation.

7. Responsibility

7.1. Moraldos Heating and Cooling is not responsible for the finance agreement itself, nor does it provide any financial advice. All finance agreements are managed directly by the finance provider.
